Changing the Cable (PTU)
- Power down the radar before disconnecting any cables.
- Using a T20 Torx screwdriver, remove the screw securing the front cover. Open the cover carefully.
- Locate the CAT6 cable connected to the RJ45 Ethernet port
- Press the RJ45 locking tab and disconnect the existing CAT6 cable from the radar.
- Disconnect the opposite end of the CAT6 cable from the corresponding port on the patch panel.
- Route the replacement CAT6 cable along the same path as the original cable.
- Connect one end of the new CAT6 cable to the radar's RJ45 Ethernet port until it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the other end of the new CAT6 cable to the same port on the patch panel that the original cable was connected to.
- Verify that both cable connections are fully seated and ensure the cable is routed without excessive tension or sharp bends.
- Reinstall the cover and secure it using the T20 Torx screw.
Restore power to the radar and verify that network connectivity has been reestablished and the radar is operating normally.
