General | Power, Network or Hardware Related Issue?

When a bay, radar, display or other component is not functioning as expected, identifying the type of issue can help to speed up troubleshooting and resolution.

This guide will help you to determine whether the problem is related to power. Network, connectivity, or hardware.

Power-related issues

Power related issues typically cause devices to become completely unavailable.

Common Symptoms:

  • Radar appears offline
  • Screen is black or powered off
  • Multiple devices in the same area stop working simultaneously

Things to check:

  • Verify that the device has power
  • Check for tripped breakers or blown fuses
  • Ensure all power cables are securely connected
  • Confirm that nearby devices are receiving power

Possible cause:

  • If the device shows no signs of life, the issue is commonly power-related.

Network-related issues

Network issues occur when devices have power but cannot communicate with the system.

Common Symptoms:

  • Display remain operational but do not update
  • Reservations do not appear
  • Data is not being transmitted

Things to check:

  • Verify ethernet cables are connected
  • Check network

Hardware-Related Issues

Hardware issues occur when a specific device is malfunctioning despite having power and network connectivity.

Common Symptoms:

  • Radar is online but not detecting shots.
  • One screen behaves differently from others.
  • A single bay experiences recurring issues.
  • Errors persist after power cycling.

Things to Check

  • Compare the affected bay with a working bay.
  • Check for visible damage.
  • Verify all cables are securely connected.
  • Restart the affected device if appropriate.

Possible cause

  • If power and network connectivity appear normal but the issue persists, hardware may be the cause.
