If your DR2 radar is down, it is necessary to perform a restart of the radar on site.
There are different methods to do this, please see below:
1st method to restart radar
The first and easiest way to restart the radar is through the main electrical board.
- Use the breaker for the radar in question and power the radar off for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, please power the radar back on again.
2nd method to restart the radar
If you are uncertain of which breaker is assigned to which radar, a restart can be done at the radar itself.
Remember to always be careful when accessing the radar and make an assessment of the situation.
- Find the radar connection box key as seen below (a set of pointy pliers will do the trick in case you cannot find the key):
- Open the Connection box with the key.
- Look for the breaker in the top right corner and flip it "off" for 2 minutes
- Then flip the breaker back to "on"
