If your PTU radar is down, it may be necessary to restart the radar on site. There are two methods to perform a restart:

1st method: Switch of the radars from the fuse box

• Each radar is connected to its own fuse in the fuse box.
• The fuse box should indicate which fuse controls the radars and screens. This is usually labeled by the electrician.
• Turn the power off, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on. 

2nd method: If the power fuse is out of reach or is not labelled

The radar can also be restarted by unplugging the power from the connection box.

• The connection box is typically located on the same pole as the radar.  
• Disconnect the power for two minutes, then plug it back in.  
• The lights on the bottom of the radar will begin flashing green or remain solid green once the radar receives power and is back online.
