If your Range Screen is unresponsive or not functioning as expected, follow the steps below to check the power and network connections before escalating the issue.
How To Power Cycle The Range Screen
-
Basic Power & Connection Checks
- Ensure the screen is securely connected to its power outlet.
- Power Cycle the Screen: Turn the screen off using the button on the back, wait 1 minute, and turn it back on. If possible, unplug the screen from the power outlet for one minute to ensure a complete power drain.
- If the issue persists, repeat this step one more time.
-
Network Connection Checks
- Verify the Connection: Ensure the Ethernet cable is firmly plugged into both the screen and your network source (router or switch).
- Inspect the Cable: Check that the Ethernet cable is in good condition and shows no visible signs of physical damage or breakage.
