Trackman Range supports multiple bay configurations to accommodate different venue layouts and user experiences.
There are three main types of bays:
- Fixed Bays with Screens
- Fixed Bays without Screens
- Dynamic Bays
Each type is designed to fit different operational needs, from fully integrated installations to more flexible setups.
1: Fixed Bays with Screens
Fixed bays with screens are fully integrated installations.
- Each bay includes a dedicated touchscreen
- Players interact directly with the system from the bay
- No personal device is required to start or use a session
This setup provides the most structured and user-friendly experience, commonly used in premium or high-traffic venues.
2: Fixed Bays without Screens
Fixed bays without screens maintain a permanent installation but rely on mobile interaction.
- No touchscreen is installed in the bay
- Players use their phone to access the Trackman app
- The system remains fixed in place with dedicated radar coverage
- This future does not allow the user to play virtual golf courses due to hardware limitations.
This setup reduces hardware requirements while still offering consistent and reliable experience.
3: Dynamic Bays
Dynamic bays are designed for flexibility.
- No fixed player interface or assigned bay setup
- Players connect via their phone using the Trackman app
- Bays can be used more freely, without strict allocation
- This future does not allow the user to play virtual golf courses due to hardware limitations.
This configuration is typically used in venues that require adaptable layouts or lower infrastructure dependency.
Connectivity
Both fixed bays without screens and dynamic bays rely on mobile connectivity.
- Players connect through the Trackman app on their phone
- Connection is made via a designated UniFi Wi-Fi access point
- The app links the player to the manually selected bay and system.
This is the most flexible way of interacting with Trackman Range, reducing the need for additional hardware while maintaining full functionality.
