Below the steps you need to follow to restart a Render server and ensure the Range monitors update correctly.

1. Locate the server
   • The server in question is typically the 2nd device from the bottom of the rack and has a black grill. It is circled in the image below:  
     
     
      
2. Power off the server
   • Press and hold the marked power button for 5 seconds. The lights will briefly go out and then start flashing again.
3. Wait
   • Leave the server in this state for 30 seconds without pressing anything.
4. Power on the server
   • After 30 seconds, press the same power button once (do not hold it). The server will begin to boot up.
5. Boot time
   • Wait about 5 minutes for the server to fully boot up.
6. Restart the Range monitors
   • Once the server is running, go to the Range monitors and restart them so they can fetch the updated information from the server.
